In 2022, English national and Ladies European Tour Professional Meghan MacLaren lit up Bonville in a flawless display of tournament golf. Famous for claiming that the NSW Coffs Coast holds a very special place in her heart, she returns in 2024 in an effort to once again hoist the Australian Women’s Classic trophy.

But can she do it? Her win at the 2022 Australian Women’s Classic Bonville made her a 3-time Ladies European Tour event winner on Australian soil after she claimed back-to-back wins at the 2018 and 2019 NSW Opens but since then, MacLaren has been a little quiet.

Maclaren’s 2023 season was a mixed affair but included five top ten finishes including good results at the Lacoste Ladies Open in France and the Swiss Ladies Open. As the tour moves toward Australia, all eyes will be on this sharpshooter during the NSW Open at Magenta Shores in the lead up to the main event at Bonville Golf Resort from April 5-7.

The 2024 Australian Women’s Classic Bonville, presented by Pacific Bay Resort Studios will be telecast LIVE on 7PLUS on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April. Spectators can witness all the action by downloading their FREE spectator pass at www.auswomensclassic.com.au

The Australian Women’s Classic Bonville was secured exclusively for Bonville by the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
