Australia’s Favourite Golf Course

I just completed my 5th stay. I'll be visiting Bonville for life. Great staff, and the best golf course I could ever hope to play.

Just had the most enjoyable stay/play at Bonville. The welcome was lovely, the game was ordinary, the course is beautiful and everything about the stay was excellent.
Every contact with a staff member was excellent - from greetings to information to service, it could not be faulted.
The accommodation is good, with a lovely quiet ambience.
The restaurant is great, food maybe came a little too fast, but overall delicious and super service.
The course is amazing! We had a couple of rain bursts, but were able to wait and play on. 18 holes, 5 hours.
We've been promising ourselves this for years and I'm so glad we finally got around to going.

The course and the service is top-tier. Definitely want to go back and play there again when it isn't raining. But even when it was it was special. The rooms are quite dated, so it was more like an old motel room rather than a resort, but you are there for the golf.

As a regular visitor to Bonville I’m always impressed by the friendly helpful staff that have all become familiar faces. You cannot fault their dedication to ensuring your experience at the resort is as good as it can possibly be. Then the course, it has to be one of the most picturesque courses in Australia. The team keep it in pristine condition, even a bad round is a great day out. Can’t recommend Bonville more highly, it’s a fantastic experience from start to finish and should be on every golfers bucket list. 5 Star!

We have had a few lovely days here, the golf course is magnificent and well worth a visit. But what made this special were the staff - from when we arrived with Gillian on the front desk, and all the staff in the restaurant - Lara (great coffee 💕), Amelia, Marie, Katie, Liz, Tiara, (sorry I don’t remember everyone’s name), and the lovely gentlemen (Chris & Lockie) setting up the golf starting and buggies. Massive thanks to the team, you have been a delight and made us so welcome. The food was lovely, the golf course is outstanding - pristinely maintained and a credit to the ground staff. Probably could upgrade the rooms a little but still comfy and spacious - and shout out to Andrew for helping me park my Campervan and looking after our room. Highly recommend a visit - stay a few days and enjoy the surrounds, the golf and the team 💕.

Unbelievable golf course. In pristine condition. Food and Beverage staff were so professional and caring.
Pro Shop staff were very welcoming. Grounds staff have the course in the best condition. We will be back!!

What a course. Simply outstanding, each hole is isolated from the others and framed dramatically. Greens are great, different grass, and fast. I can’t wait to play again.

My husband and I had such a great time here. We did the stay and play package. Every staff member was so hospitable. The meals were delicious and the golf course is fantastic!

My review is for the golf course only, after playing here in November 2025. There is a reason this course is rated as one of the best ever in Australia. Almost every hole is a post card, with amazing elevation changes and fairways carved into the lush gum trees forests. Amazing scenery aside, the golf course itself is epic, such a fabulous design and fun for all handicap levels. Look out for some of the holes which go sharply up hill, with others hitting off a cliff ready to bomb. Just wow and a must play.

Very warm welcome from the club staff. Fab setting and scenery. So much space, that you only really see the hole you are playing and no one else. Great condition, very fast sloping greens! A good challenge off Bloodwood. Did not overnight, just had lunch beforehand which was very tasty. Not cheap but definitely worth a visit!

Play the course but stayed elsewhere. The Bonville International is a beautiful championship course that is long and challenging. It's set in sub tropical rainforest and is maintained to a championship standard.

Beautifully designed and a real joy to play and stay. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Will be back for sure.

My first visit for a stay- play weekend at this amazing golf paradise. The course is extraordinary and challenging for all golfers but the landscape and ambience is spectacular. The fairways, tees and greens are manicured and its reputation for being Australia’s Augusta is deserved. The rooms are really comfortable and the dinners and breakfasts are superb. The service and support from all staff is at a high standard which makes all interactions positive, queries are answered and everyone makes you feel welcome. This was one of my bucket list goals and hopefully I’ll be back each year.
